Government agencies convened a stakeholders meeting to discuss mounting concerns about the safety of Filipino children on the platform, which boasts millions of young users in the country.
CICC Sets 15-Day Compliance Deadline
The regulatory body has shortened the compliance window significantly, signaling the urgency of the situation. CICC Executive Director Alexander Ramos stated that the agency will not hesitate to implement a complete ban if Roblox fails to meet the prescribed standards within the given timeframe.
This means Roblox could be blocked in the Philippines within approximately one month from now if no concrete actions are taken.
