Eligibility Criteria for Informants
Among the 31 recipients, five tipsters received the highest individual awards of P500,000 each for leads that led to major drug busts in Metro Manila and surrounding provinces.
Twelve informants earned between P200,000 and P300,000 for information that aided operations in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
The remaining 14 tipsters received amounts ranging from P50,000 to P150,000 for their contributions to smaller-scale but equally important anti-drug operations.

Director Lazo noted that without actionable intelligence from community members, law enforcement agencies face significant challenges in identifying and prosecuting high-value targets in the illegal drug trade.
The agency has observed a steady increase in tip submissions since implementing its informant reward program in 2022. Intelligence gathered from informants has contributed to the seizure of over 2.5 metric tons of illegal drugs valued at approximately P1.8 billion in the past year alone.
