Terrafirma, which dropped to 1-4, fought back from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter behind the efforts of import Brandon Edwards and local guard Juan Gomez de Liano. Edwards finished with 28 points and 14 rebounds, while Gomez de Liano added 18 points, including two four-pointers of his own.
The Dyip briefly took a 85-84 lead with 2:30 remaining after a key basket by Edwards, but NLEX tightened its defense.
