The Palace vowed that President Rodrigo Duterte would continue his excellent public service for the Filipino people, following the results of a Social Weather Stations’ (SWS) survey showing Duterte’s “very good” net trust rating.
Garnering a +65 net trust rating for the first quarter of the year, the President’s net trust ratings remain “excellent” in Visayas and Mindanao, while “very good” in Balance Luzon and Metro Manila.
According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, the Palace is “grateful for our people’s vote of confidence with significant trust in the President, amid being subject to unending criticisms and attacks.”
“Rest assured that the President will continue to steer the ship of State until we reach a drug-free destination where the country’s macroeconomic fundamentals would be strong and resilient so Filipinos could lead comfortable lives,” he added.
Duterte’s superb performance in the surveys has been consistent, having gained an “excellent” trust rating or 83% of Filipinos in favor of him in the fourth quarter of 2017.
