NFA Rice is not affected of the price hike due to the additional tax

The National Food Authority of the Philippines has said that the price of the NFA Rice will not change amid the anticipated price hike on most of the food commodities in accordance with the tax adjustments in compliance with the T.R.A.I.N. Law.

NFA Administrator Jason Aquino shared that the regular milled rice will stay at PhP 27 per kilo while PhP 31 per kilo for the well-milled variety. He warned the traders of being punished by law when they do not comply with this posted SRP.
